Not often I agree with a Goonie, but the fact that it seems BoB have beaten a significantly smaller cap force and have come to the forums gloating like a bunch of schoolkids does nothing for their image of being the big macho men of Eve.
I would have had more respect for this chestbeating if they had instead turned it into a proper parody thread about TWD getting killed.
I would say, that at the moment, BoB + pets/ fanbois are the worst posters on the forums. Never has this much drivel been seen since.. Well ever. If that's what you want the Max campaign to represent, then more power to you, but somehow, I don't think that's the intended result.

TBH it sounds like every other thread on CAOD.
Before, when a lot of people were new to game SP played a factor and quality > quantity, nowadays with more high sp chars ingame (at least enough to spec in a race,) lag becoming factor with ridiculous numbers it's ALWAYS quantity > quality and you all know it. (Well if you don't then why the hell you rolling in 400 man gangs?)
Nah, when Goons where tearing Smash apart, at least their posts had some kind of humour in them. These ones about NC jumping 14 odd caps into 60 BoB caps and BoB + pets/fanbois cheering like they just got laid for the first time.. It's just drivel. I don't see how anyone could make a post like they are without actually cringing as they write it.
I hate to say this, but I am actually looking forward to Cippiliusessuius posts in each thread for the comedy value. Now that shouldn't be something anyone has to say EVER, but compared to the BoB + pets/fanbois, he is actually FUNNY!
That's just not right..

It was a good trade to cause more damage, but tactically, P-2 would have been a far more important system to take.
Realistically, EC- is a good system for BoB, as they need an open route to Jita to pick up new battleships so they can keep throwing them at cynojammed systems, but P-2 is far more important if they want to have somewhere that gives them multiple options for striking at their enemy in the North.
EC- seems mainly to be a morale boost for BoB, as NC + RA would have to be stupid to go for it and it allows BoBs pets to jump up and down on the forums proclaiming they have won.
From what I understand, they made one attempt early on that failed most likely due to poor communication that seemed to be more of an attempt of consequence rather than a planned attempt to take the system back.
The problem with BoB taking systems, is that they will have to leave a defence force there, as the russians will simply blob in when BoB leave and take everything back. The cost of the pos is nothing to them and the complex reactors where just so they had somewhere to react things 1 jump from empire. They can be built anywhere really.
If BoB hang around in EC-, all they are going to become are gatecamping pirates ganking shuttles coming in from Torrinos. I am expecting some spin from the BoB morons when they "tactically move" from EC- and leave it for the russians to retake.

Well, for a start, EC- is nowhere near the borders of any of the northern alliances. It's like a General using Madagaskar to act as a staging point for invading Europe. there is no way they can hold it while still pushing into NC territory.
P-2 however, is very close to NCs border, while offering multiple routes to attack the region from.
Maybe you should stick to the grunts work and let the smart people do your thinking for you, k? Next time you call someone an armchair general without knowing who they are, you might want to rethink your words.

Nobody in the upper regions uses EC-, unless they want a shortcut to western Lonetrek. It's mainly used by PB/ Fade regions, which are held by the russians. If they got really desperate, they could always JF their stuff past EC-

I'm just gonna leave this thread now. Before this MAX rubbish, I had a modi****of respect for BoB. Never before have I seen such a rabble of petty spoilt children who like throwing their toys out of their pram if they don't get their way.
That's not all of them btw, they still have a few good members that I remember. Tholarim, Siddy, Thelung and a few others. Most the good ones have left now. Why oh why did they go to Goon like proportions to recruit all the worst types of player they could?!
